Pitted Fresh Sour Cherries, sweetened and pasteurized without preservative in jars or tins.
After washing and carefully inspecting, the fresh sour cherries are calibrated by millimeter. The sour cherries with diameter more than 17 mm are then being pitted, and filled in glass jars, usually with size of 720 ml, but other packaging is available by request of the customer. The jars are filled with pitted cherries and sweetened hot water, then pass through the exhauster where the air from the liquid is exhausted. After this process the jars are closed on automatic machine for closing jars, and then pasteurized in pasteurization tunnel. The jars are then arranged on a wooden pallet, stretched with a plastic film, and stored in a warehouse.
When an order is placed, the jars are cleaned, labeled, arranged by 6 on a carton and packed with thermo foil. These packages are then arranged on a euro wooden pallet, and then stretched with plastic film. One pallet contains 768 labeled and packed jars or 128 packages.
If the jars are unpacked, one pallet contains 780 tins.
